June 28, on the first day of World Nuclear Exhibition, French Minister of Economy Emmanuel Macron and EDF Chief Executive Officer Jean-Bernard Lévy visited the booth of CGN.

Senior Vice President of CGN, Zheng Dongshan presented the nuclear power construction and operation in China and the cooperation between CGN and French companies to the guests.

During visit, Minister Macron highly appraised the Sino-French cooperation and showed great interest in HPR 1000. He hoped both sides could enhance the cooperation in nuclear power supply chain. Zheng Dongshan stated that, besides investment there was also technology cooperation between Chinese and French enterprises. By establishing such cooperation mode, both sides could share the brand and experience and jointly advance the third country market in nuclear power industry.

With respect to the nuclear power project in UK which has received wide attention from international community, both sides confirmed there was no change in nuclear power project in UK and the cooperation would be further enhanced to highly efficiently promote the project.
