Recently, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CGN) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on developing agricultural photovoltaic project with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (hereinafter referred to as SJTU).

With the leadership of CGN Solar Energy Development Co., Ltd and Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Agriculture and Biology, and on the basis of 1500 mu of land inside the Agronomic Park on the south bank of Huangpu River in Fengxian district, the strategic cooperation plans to carry out a diversified, multidirectional and profound cooperation on agriculture photovoltaic project. The project would bring significant values of scientific research, society and economy for both sides as well as infuse fresh blood into the development of agricultural photovoltaic industry in Shanghai region.

The cooperation between CGN and SJTU embodies the vanguard spirit of enterprise and would promote the innovative development of enterprise-university cooperation. The deep and wide cooperation would benefit both sides. CGN and SJTU both said that hope to enhance the cooperation and make new breakthroughs in recycling economy, planting energy and other fields by depending on development directions of new energies.
