Undaunted by rain showers and the low temperature, CGN European Energy Company recently joined 75 peers in a football match organized by France Énergie Éolienne (FEE) in Meudon, a southwestern suburb of Paris.
It was the only team sent by a Chinese-funded enterprise. Despite cultural differences, both Chinese and French employees demonstrated an impressive team spirit and persistence under the leadership of Huang Yuanzheng, general manager of CGN European Energy Company.
Founded in 1996, FEE has about 280 members, including GDF Suez-Futures Energies, Siemens France, Vestas France, Senvion, Enercon, Greensolver, and other enterprises engaged in wind power. These companies, which make up more than 90 percent of wind turbine construction and 85 percent of wind turbine operation in France, are significant partners for CGN European Energy Company to develop its wind power business in Europe. The CGN subsidiary joined the association in 2016.
