The Chinese government, Chinese enterprises, overseas Chinese and civil society are all committed to the public welfare of Namibian women and youth. Professor Peng Liyuan, the First Lady of China donated anti-epidemic materials to the foundation in July last year to help Namibian women, children and youngsters fight against novel coronavirus pneumonia. The donation of caring people from Taiwan, China to build a Children Care Center, the fund-raising of professors from Beijing Normal University to build a Children Center and Female Science Project, have carried the care of the Chinese government and people to the health and development rights of Namibian children and adolescents, which has also witnessed the profound friendship of mutual support between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations 30 years ago.

Mr. Qiu Bin said in his speech:

The foundation is committed to promoting the well-being of Namibian people, which is highly consistent with Swakop Uranium social responsibility purpose. Swakop Uranium will continue to strengthen cooperation with the foundation and participate more in Namibian social welfare.

Ms. Geingos said in her speech:

Young people are the future of our country. The Chinese Embassy and Swakop Uranium help the Befree Youth Training Program in a timely manner. I am very grateful to the Chinese government and enterprises for their foresight. The Chinese Year of the Ox means diligence and foretells harvest. I hope China and Namibia will work together to build a better future!
