At 13:42 on May 2, with the issuance of the grid connection instruction,  Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station Unit 6 was successfully connected to the grid for the first time. This marks that Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station Unit 6# is capable of power generation and takes the key step towards the goal of commercial operation.

In the process of grid connection, all parameters of Unit 6# are normal and stable, the Unit is in good condition, and the Unit enters the last load test stage before commercial operation. With the grid connection of Unit 6, CGN has 26 nuclear power units with power generation capacity.

The successful grid connection for power generation of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station Unit 6 is the result of the collaborative efforts made by each unit of production and engineering departments. Subsequently, each unit of production and engineering departments will continue to fully practice the work style of “Strict Compliance, Prudent Decision-making, Detail-oriented and Fact-based Approach”, carry out a series of tests as planned, further verify the various performances of the unit for commercial operation conditions, and promote the high-quality operation of Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Station Unit 6.
