CGN Europe Energy Company was granted the 2nd Social Responsibility Award for Sino-French Enterprises at the headquarters of the Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Oct 4.

The award was initiated by the Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with the China Europe International Business School, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France, and KPMG under the context of the China-France Year of the Environment.
The award recognized one French enterprise in China and one Chinese enterprise in France for their contributions in social responsibility to the country that they are located in. This is meant to encourage outstanding and innovative practices in social responsibility, raise awareness of social responsibility in Sino-French economic cooperation, as well as promote healthy competition between Chinese and French companies.

The company has attached great importance to both development and social responsibility, striving to build a community of shared goals with France, he added.
