On December 11, the 2020 Annual Meeting of China Quality Association opened in Beijing, and the award ceremony of the 19th National Quality Award (2020-2021) Outstanding Project Award and Individual Award was held at the same time. CGN Yangjiang Nuclear Power Units 3 and 4 nuclear power project won the “19th National Quality Award (2020-2021) Outstanding Project Award”, becoming the only award-winning project in the field of nuclear power engineering construction, which is another national award after the National High Quality Engineering Gold Award on December 1.

Yangjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., which participated in the evaluation for the first time, has been highly recognized by the excellent project award evaluation group of China Quality Association for its advantages in nuclear safety culture, integration of engineering and production, staff training system, technological innovation and application of new technologies.

The National Quality Award Outstanding Project Award is set up by China Quality Association and is held every two years. It is an honor granted to key projects or major high-tech projects applying advanced quality management methods. The number of awards won for each time shall not exceed 10.
