Since this week, the whole city of Dalian fell into the sphere of influence of “Bavi”, the emergency response to major meteorological disasters (typhoons) was upgraded from grade III to II. On August 26, Dalian Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters announced suspension of work, business, trading, class for the whole city and temporary closure of landmark building Xinghai Bay Bridge. .
