On September 18, the 8th China Charity Project Exchange Exhibition (CCPEE) with the theme of “Fight to get rid of poverty and create a better life together”, is opened in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre. CGN appears in CCPEE for eight consecutive times, fully demonstrates to people from all walks of life the achievements of CGN in helping to win the battle against poverty.
Mr. Zhuang Shuxin, Deputy Secretary-general of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, comes to the CGN Booth to learn the updates of CGN poverty alleviation projects, give recognition to the work of poverty alleviation of CGN and encourage CGN to continue to contribute to the decisive battle against poverty.
CGN Booth, located at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall 1 A17, exhibits a number of cases of designated assistance of CGN with pictures and texts on the platform by using display board, large screen and LED TV, and shows the work and achievements of CGN in Guangxi state designated poverty alleviation areas and other poverty alleviation areas in such provinces as Guangdong, Xinjiang, Qinghai. And in Lingyun County and Leye County of Baise City, Guangxi, leveraging the local advantages, CGN helps them to develop the advantageous industry of mulberry planting and silkworm rearing and the pillar industry of red kiwifruit, promotes vigorously the development of special produces, such as tea, camellia oil, mango, rosa roxburghii juice, so that Lingyun and Leye counties have made great economic development and gradually embarked on the road of poverty alleviation and prosperity.
